I agree that I am not an employee of Just Between Friends, Inc. or JBF Springfield, and that JBF will not provide me with insurance, worker’s compensation, sick leave, vacation pay, retirement, social security, disability, health, or unemployment benefits or any other benefits of an employee. Instead, I am offering my services as a TEMPORARY independent contractor and this waiver shall not constitute the formation of a partnership, joint venture, employment, principal/agent, or master/servant relationship between the parties. I have no expectation of future employment.

I agree to forever discharge and agree to hold harmless Just Between Friends, Inc. or independently owned JBF sale I am participating in, its officers, directors and agents against all damages, losses, claims, costs and expenses (including attorney’s fees and court costs), and liabilities of any nature which may be incurred by me or which may arise from my activities at the sale. Furthermore, I agree to waive, relinquish, discharge, release, and convenant not to sue JBF Springfield (Twice Redeemed, LLC) or JBF Systems, Inc. or any of either entity's members, officers, directors, agents, or Team Members for any/all claims of injury, damage, or loss that I or my family members may incur while participating in this event.

I agree to completely fulfill my self-elected time commitments. If I am unable to do so, I will make arrangements with the Event Organizers as soon as possible so that they can make other arrangements. I understand that this will be used to elect my pay rate. I have selected the shift(s) that work best with my schedule and skills. JBF Springfield shall not have or exercise control over the duration, permanency, or methods by which I perform services pursuant to this Agreement. I understand that my gross sales' affect my earnings, and therefore, I have the possibility for profit/loss during my seasonal work at the sale. Another individual over the age of fifteen (15) may perform the services I have agreed to perform on my behalf with proper notice to JBF of Springfield. I further agree that I am responsible for compensating any sub-contractors that I designate from the compensation that I receive. I acknowledge that I am performing services as a Team Member on a temporary basis, and that no continuing contractual arrangement will exist between myself and JBF of Springfield. I am not required to devote full time services to JBF of Springfield and am free to continue or pursue all other forms of gainful work available to me.

I am participating as a member of the JBF Team in an ethical manner, and agree that I am not attempting to learn JBF business practices, operations techniques, or any other business matters that may or may not be trademarked, registered, or proprietary in any way.

I understand that if I work 4 consecutive hours, I will be provided with water and snacks in the break room for a 15 minute paid break. I understand that if I work 8 consecutive hours, I will be provided a meal in the break room for a 30 minute paid break.

I understand that I am permitted to leave personal items in the break room during my shift, but that it will be AT MY OWN RISK. I agree not to hold JBF Springfield responsible for any lost/stolen personal items.

I understand that if I work during Sunday 12-5 shift or Sunday 2-7 shift AND have a Fast Pass, I will be allowed to bring my items to put out during the time that team members are putting out team lead items (see consignor drop off appointment page). Express Drop off value: $25

I agree to have any edits to my work schedule complete prior to the week of drop off. I understand that any schedule changes made after presale pass codes are sent will result in an increase of $10 added to my consignor fee in order compensate additional work to find last minute replacements. If I do not complete all of the hours billed for in the invoice below, my compensation will be adjusted to match the amount of hours actually worked.

I understand that if I work the Sort or Pick Up Shift on Saturday, I may shop the DONATE items at 75% off for the 2 hours before sorting begins.

By participating in any Event (in any capacity, including but not limited to as a shopper, consignor, or Team Member), you agree, on behalf of yourself and any of your minor children attending with you, that your photograph, video, or other digital media may be used to promote future events.
